Rev. Lisa C. Coleman
Baja-based author and artist. Coastal living, DIY, and presence practice. Nature’s Miracle and Quiet Current series.
Bio
Lisa Coleman writes from Baja California Sur about coastal living, natural DIY, and the everyday practice of presence. Her pages move from idea to action with a warm, practical tone that invites readers to try one small thing today, then another tomorrow. She is the creator of the Nature’s Miracle series (All About Aloe, All About Rosemary, All About Castor Oil, and more), plain-spoken guides to plants you can actually use at home. She also authors the Quiet Current series, including Still Here and Awakening the Quiet Current, which offer steady, down-to-earth invitations to breathe, notice, and care for a nervous system in the real world. As a working artist and publisher at Laughing Gulls Books, she builds books the way she builds a day: simple tools, honest language, clear steps, and room for people to adapt what fits.
Lisa co-runs OurBajaLife.com, where writing, art, and Baja “make it yourself” projects meet. You will find coastal kitchen experiments, plant how-tos, and small rituals that help a house—and a body—feel more like home. The throughline is consistent across it all: accessible guidance, kind pacing, and respect for the reader’s time, energy, and agency.
